Tyler Kofoed is a native of West Jordan, Utah. He has been involved with choral music for over sixteen years and has sung with groups including the Utah Symphony Chorus, the Utah Opera Chorus, The Cathedral of the Madeline Choir, and the Utah Chamber Artists. Tyler served as the Assistant Conductor and President of the Salt Lake Community College Choirs, as well as the President of the University of Utah Choirs. Tyler has also been very active as a performer and music director in several community music programs. He studied choral conducting under Dr. Barlow Bradford and is currently finishing his undergraduate degree in Vocal Performance at Westminster College, studying voice with Michael Chipman. Tyler Is currently preparing the role of Mr. Ford in Westminster’s upcoming production of The Merry Wives of Windsor. Tyler became the Chorus Master of the American West Symphony Chorus and Chamber Singers in January 2013.
